Purpose
The purpose of the Center is to increase the quality and efficiency of scientific activity. The preferred field is chemistry, without excluding technologies that call on molecular transformations, with the aim of:
Scientific Impact
The center's activity is crucial for the development of new environmentally friendly materials ("green chemistry") and for providing technical solutions in solid waste management. Research results are frequently published in international specialized journals (such as the Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry), contributing to UVT's visibility on a global scale.
The activity of this center is also closely linked to the new Institute for Advanced Environmental Research (ICAM) of UVT, which integrates state-of-the-art facilities for interdisciplinary studies.
